Project Overview:
EMD Versum in Dallas packages and provides chemicals to the booming semiconductor industry. The company turned to TD's Process Piping manufacturing and construction team to replace its 40-plus-year old cleanroom autofill system. TD's scope was to design, manufacture, QA check and commission an 800-square-foot cleanroom and associated mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.

Project Complexity
TD’s engineering and construction expertise is critical to ensure EMD’s operations continue full-time with minimal disruption throughout the project. The cleanroom structure was built in two weeks in existing on-site warehouse space in coordination with GSO/RLG architects to meet industrial safety and permitting requirements. TD's subcontracting leadership scope included structural steel, firestopping and fire suppression, cutting/coring, electrical, controls, roofing and a crane lift for the new 15 ton air handling unit on the roof.
