Project Complexity
The sports complex remained fully operational by athletes and faculty throughout the entire construction project, with only a few away-game weekends that left the space unoccupied. TD’s team overcame scheduling hurdles by effectively utilizing pull planning and communicating with all contractors and suppliers throughout the project’s phases. Additionally, due to proximity of the San Marcos River that flows through campus, TD coordinated with the University Environmental Department and the City of San Marcos to perform standard procedures for plumbing flush plans, while accounting for additional safety and environmental health guidelines.
