TDIndustries replaced three rooftop chillers, eight cooling towers and 96 air handling units (AHUs) to improve the tenant experience at the high-rise office tower, and rebuilt the AHU on the 48th floor.

Project Complexity
TDIndustries provided design-build mechanical services and split the work into three phases to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget. First, the cooling towers were replaced, followed by the chillers and, finally, the AHUs. All of this work was conducted over one year without any loss of service during occupied hours.
TD prefabricated the piping to speed up on-site installation. The site crews also disassembled and reassembled many of the new AHUs to fit within each mechanical room.
