The Jane and John Justin Surgical Tower is Texas Health Resources' largest construction project. The 10-story, 440,000 square-foot surgical tower includes 114 patient beds with a capacity of 216, private consultation rooms, training rooms, surgical suites with 15 operating rooms, 32 PACUs and 24 pre-operative service areas. TD overcame weather and pandemic challenges to complete the project on schedule.

Scope includes all mechanical prefab and installation work for the project and a renovation scope of work to add a new satellite pharmacy area in the existing Richardson Tower. Keys to success include Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)/Building Information Modeling (BIM), off-site prefabrication, meticulous planning and scheduling and execution on the timeline. TDIndustries won first place in the Specialty Contractor – Mechanical 3 (over $10M) category of the 2023 TEXO Awards.
