Project Overview:
This state of the art emergency department expansion project tripled the facility's size. It included two levels below ground with parking and an additional 100,000 square feet of shell floors. Patient beds and treatment bays were increased from 37 to 72, with space for future needs. The building also included an elevated steel heliport. TDIndustries’ scope for this project included design-assist services, plumbing, mechanical and medical gas systems.

In order to minimize disruption to the existing operations and patient care during construction of this complex project, it was broken up into multiple phases over three years. Strong collaboration with the construction and design teams was paramount to ensure successful completion.
TDIndustries also completed the full mechanical scope of the Yuma Regional Cancer Center, which is located across the street from the Yuma Regional Medical Center.
